    Our FREE Crisis Assist Team provides immediate, 24/7 response to individuals who have a mental health crisis or are having thoughts of suicide. The team helps find resources and provides support and service on an individual basis to manage the crisis. When it is clinically appropriate, a same-day or next-day face-to-face intervention will occur.

  • Calling the National Sexual Assault Hotline gives you access to a range of free services including confidential support from a trained staff member, support finding a local health facility that is trained to care for survivors of sexual assault and offers services like sexual assault forensic exams, someone to help you talk through what happened, local resources that can assist with your next steps toward healing and recovery, referrals for long-term support in your area, information about the laws in your community, basic information about medical concerns.

  • Burrell's Behavioral Crisis Center - Rapid Access Unit is a walk-in Crisis Access point for individuals in need of immediate psychiatric care, Medication-Assisted Treatment for opioid use, psychiatric assessment, initial assessment eligibility determination, brief therapy, peer support services, 23-hour observation, referral to appropriate follow-up treatment, and more. This is an 18-and-up facility.

  • Provides mental health services to the greater Springfield area regardless of the ability to pay. Call 417.869.9011 or visit ozarkscounselingcenter.org

  • Center City Counseling Clinic offers in-person counseling sessions, for adults, couples, teens and children ages 2-12, by appointment only.

    Charges are based on self-reported income on a sliding scale.
